Private Commissions

My first commission was completed in high school when a friend’s dad requested a sign for his farm entrance. It was a very large, scenic view of the landscape and had the farm name on top. It was framed; complete with a roof and spot lights (6 x 12 feet). During my university years I completed many commissions and managed to cover the tuition costs for my entire degree.

Since then, I have done dozens of commissions. I work closely with the client to understand their vision and the effect they are trying to visualize. Then with on-going collaboration and updates the process continues until the painting is complete. Once the art is ready, I usually see the client for presentation. I have done commissions for my gallery ‘Art Works’ where I have worked with both the gallery agent and the designers.

Thank you to all my past supporters and many friends and colleagues for the valuable encouragement and kindness which keeps me inspired and creating new works. It is with these commissions that I continue to develop my creativity, learn new skills and see fresh ways to view the landscape
